MSAR Refinery MSAR® MARGIN IS SHARED 35 $Million/yr. MSAR® fuel is sold on a B2B basis. The value created by MSAR® production and use is shared between the refinery, the fuel consumer, and Quadrise. 10,000 BPD INCREASED PROFITABILITY As a result of MSAR® production, distillate sales increase & HFO blending costs reduce, improving overall refinery profitability net of all costs. MSAR® FUEL 21,400 BPD MSAR® technology, blends heavy residuals directly with water and proprietary stabilising emulsifier additives, to make a lower cost synthetic HFO. HEAVY RESIDUALS 15,000 BPD Heavy residuals are low in value and are blended with valuable distillates to control viscosity and other specifications to make heavy fuel oil (HFO). OIL REFINING 100,000 BPD Oil refineries use complex units to transform crude oil into valuable distillate fuels; jet, petrol, diesel etc, though often heavy residuals remain.
